A BIG Thank You!
Thanks so much to all of the volunteers who donated time, game supplies, and food for the Halloween parties.  The students all had a great time, and we greatly appreciate your efforts to make the parties something to look forward to and enjoy!

Holiday Parties
Our 5th grade holiday party will be on Friday, December 21, from 2:30-3:30.  We will be including the sign-up volunteers for food and games for this party after Thanksgiving, so be on the lookout for that info.  If you plan to attend or help in classrooms, please make sure you have a background check completed.  See the instructions below on how to do that.

Ski & Snowboard Club
Do you like to ski or snowboard?  If so, this opportunity is for you, your family, and your friends. ANYONE can be a part of this. This makes the perfect Christmas gift for those people in your life that enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

It's only $17 to join the club which can save you lots of money at Bittersweet Ski Resort in Otsego, MI. The "club" part of this is really for middle & high schoolers, but YOU get the opportunity to take advantage of the exact same savings.

Here is out it works:
You purchase a $17 pass and then it only cost you $17 for a lift ticket each time you go. The normal lift ticket price is $38. So just going one time you have already saved money.

Do you need to rent skis or a snowboard?  Your pass will allow you to rent either skis or snowboard for only $17. The normal rental is $27.  Click here (https://2018skiboardclub.itemorder.com/sale) to order your passes today!   If you have any questions, please call Mr. Bolhuis @ school.

Background Checks
Please be aware that every year, each adult that would like to volunteer at Park needs to fill out a Background Check form that is found at:  http://www.hudsonvillepublicschools.org/   The “Volunteer Background Check” tab is found on the main page in the bottom right corner.  Park is asking that if you are planning on coming into our building and going beyond the office, please fill this form out at your earliest convenience.  This does include class parties (ie Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s), field days, field trips, classroom work, etc.

Assessments
If your child receives a 1 on any type of assessment, please do one of the following: sign the assessment and send it back to school the next day OR write a note in your child’s agenda stating you saw the assessment.  Thank you for helping us in this matter.

Math Help?
We encourage students to take their math notebook and textbook home to help with their homework. That way they can use them as a resource if they forgot how to do their homework.   If they forgot their materials or need additional help, the following links can be used:
